ms. j's classroom in colorado has received tickets
donated to see the musical "wicked" live on stage and needs
transportation to the center for performing arts.
ms. j teaches high school reading to a highly at-risk
population. most of her students speak english as their second
language and most are economically disadvantaged. "wicked" has
been the theme throughout the year and the excitement has caused an
increase in attendance, many sitting next to students in rival gangs
while discussing the negative implications of judging others.

mrs. h's classroom in georgia would like a swing for the
students with physical disabilities so they can feel independence and
the joy of swinging.
mrs. h teaches 9-12 grade self-contained special needs
students in a small community with limited resources. her students do
not get to have many of the same opportunities as other students in the
community due to their disabilities. you will make it possible for her
students to get a taste of what it is like to have fun without someone
holding onto which will stimulate their minds which will transfer to
more learning in the classroom.
